About Us

For adult men and women diagnosed with psychiatric conditions, finding a facility designed to provide stabilization and therapies, in a safe and secure environment, can be quite a daunting task. Loved ones of individuals diagnosed with mental and behavorial health disorders often struggle to find a community-based facility that provides the necessary care for their family member or friend.

The decision is often stressful and confusing, as there are many preconceived notions and misconceptions about the type of facility, the type of care and services available and subsquent placement.

At View Heights Convalescent Hospital we offer 163 beds Skilled Nursing Beds (SNF) for the  short-term placement of adults diagnosed with mental or behavioral health programs.

View Heights is licensed as a SNF, which is the highest level of licensed nursing care for adults outside of an acute and rehabilitation hospital setting. Our 163-bed facility is a dedicated treatment inpatient facility for individuals suffering with a mental and/or behavorial health condition.  View Heights offers a safe and secure facility with a large secured courtyard. We have a state-of-the-art security system which provides the detection, supervision, and response necessary to create an environment of freedom and safety for our clients.

We are proud that our Special Treatment Program (STP) has been certified by the State Department of Mental Health for the provision of services for the chronically mentally ill and dually-diagnosed individuals. Please be advised that our facility does not provide services for clients diagnosed with Alzheimers or dementia.
